Gianna Bentivenga

Gianna Bentivenga was born in 1975 in Stigliano, Italy, where her first school formation took place, and where, in 1983 she achieved the Teacher-Training School Diploma.

In 1994, after moving to Rome, she became a member of the Free School of Nude in the Accademy of Fine Arts of Rome.

In 1995 she achieved the Artistic Diploma in the Institute of Art in Matera (Italy) and in the same year she started the regular Course of Painting at Rome Accademy of Fine Arts.

In 1997 she started the engraving studies.

In 1998-99 she attended in the Academia Voor Schone Kunsten of Antwerp (Belgium) as an Erasmus Socrates student. During this period she also attended the engraving laboratory Frans Masereelcentrum in Kasterlee.

In 1999 she achieved the degree in Painting at Rome Accademy of Fine Arts.

She lives and works in Rome.
